Derman is a producer and supplier of frankincense from Africa to global markets in Asia, Middle East, Europe and USA.

 

Derman plays a key role in the preservation and conservation of boswellia sacra (commonly known as frankincense or the olibanum-tree), which are predominantly found in the country of Somalia.

Derman invests heavily in the conservation of this rare tree, through sustainable harvests and replanting, monitoring of supply, and heavy promotion of its available resources through education, training and, technical assistance.
